Harishchandra Ghat has special significance from a mythological point of view. It is situated between Mysore Ghat and Ganga Ghat. Here the last rites of the dead people of Hinduism are performed. There is a very ancient temple of King Harishchandra, his wife Taramati, and their son Rohtasva at Harishchandra Ghat. Along with this, there is also a very old Shiva temple on this ghat.
